Duathlon Schools Challenge

The Schools Challenge is an opportunity for schools to compete in the Discovery Triathlon World Cup Cape Town. Learners from 14 - 18 years old can compete either as an individual or in a team of two or three members. Learners will be representing their Schools as they vie for glory to claim one of the five trophies up for grabs.

Early Bird Special: October 2018

  • Get a 10% discount on the regular entry fee when you enter during the month of October 2018, or
  • Pay R100 to secure your spot, then confirm your entry by paying the balance by 23:59 on 30 November 2018. (Do not miss this deadline. You will forfeit your R100 deposit as well as your entry reservation.)

You may cancel your entry, no questions asked, before 23:59 on 31 October 2018 for a full refund.

The first 250 athletes to enter (across both triathlon and duathlon fields) will receive:

  • One parking pass (per entry or team);
  • A R100 Sportsman’s Warehouse voucher, which can be used when you make a single purchase of R300 or more.

Early bird entrants will also have access to free training sessions. More information to follow.

School Challenge Rules:

  • Team participation category will be determined by the age of the oldest member of the team. Age groups are aligned to TSA age group categories
  • Teams can consist of 2 or 3 members and can be male/female or mixed teams
  • Teams with two members: One of the members will do two legs of the race
  • Teams with three members: First member to run; second member to cycle; third member to run
